American consumers need to care more about what they’re putting into their bodies, and be more vigilant about the quality of their food, and where it comes from. Large transnational biotech corporations are destroying our food supply by promoting industrialized farming and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Not only are these practices destroying our topsoil and the ecosystem that we depend upon, they're also unhealthy and toxic to our bodies. Americans are essentially guinea pigs! There are no long – term studies to validate the safety of GMOs or for that matter, any other type of genetically engineered (GE) food. Oh . . . by the way, the FDA has now approved GE salmon; what next? You have no idea what you’re eating, and the food corporations and the government aren’t going to tell you. So please do research and educate yourselves, read labels, boycott Monsanto products, write lots of letters to your representatives, and above all . . . CARE about what you put into your and your family´s body!

On February 10, 2013 during the new moon, the cycle of the Dragon year will transform into the year of the black water snake. In general, snakes are considered a Yin (female) animal, they represent wisdom, intuition, cunning, and are very calm, unless provoked, which brings out an aggressive side. They're able to move in any direction, therefore making them very unpredictable. This unpredictable nature will make 2013 a difficult year to plan for. Astrologers are also saying that this year will be a good year for science, research, and academia, because the snake is a "thinker". 2013 will also be a good year for travel, communication, networking, business / finances, and interpersonal relationships.
